My hobbies and interests

There are many hobbies or things I like to do:

music – I have been playing piano since I was 5 years old – and I like listening to almost all kinds of music from classics to techno (depending on the mood of course), also visiting concerts or operas, but as well big parties with a great atmosphere;

then travelling (I’m happy that I was able to visit over 65 countries in the world, so far),

 nature (driving through unknown landscapes everywhere, but especially unspoilt places in northern countries like Alaska, Canada, in Scandinavia or also Fireland in southern america – and the contrary like tropical islands; driving, walking, taking pictures, but also playing with my cat),

sports (mainly biking, swimming, skiing),

culture (dances, ballet, music, behaviours etc.),

meeting people and talk about everything,

the internet (great tool for information and communication, with strenghts and weaknesses like everywhere in life),

computers and their possibilities but also limits - seeing problems, analyzing them and trying to solve them in a logical way,

chess (great for strategic thinking but also passing good time with someone),

dining in a good company, with a fine wine and maybe an old scotch whisky afterwards, sitting in a wing chair, in a big living-room with a fireplace...
