How I see the world
I always try to be a „realistic optimist“ (or an „optimistic realist“) and to be open-minded and tolerant for all possible opinions, as long as they don’t impact others in a bad sense or against their will. I see the world as a fascinating place of an almost unlimited number of differences, considering if they should be kept in their way or developed by respecting them and finding together by talking and understanding, correcting opinions by learning from each other or explaining each other’s values...
The difficult thing is to „develop“ the sensitivity about knowing people – to feel about how someone is: this is another great challenge to have a good feeling for people and situations – as I’m convinced that decisions should be based upon knowing the facts, but taken with the feelings we have about the task in question!
So the world and life is to me a very interesting challenge with many opportunities, but many threats too – let’s pick and enjoy as many opportunities as possible, and learn about and from the threats and difficult experiences we have – but keeping always looking forward in an optimistic and realistic way!
